Steven John Tyburski, 81, of East Hartford, the beloved husband of Jean (Charamut) Tyburski for 54 years, went to be with our Lord on Monday, October 27, 2008. Born in New Britain on February 14, 1927, son of the late Steve and Josephine (Kalinowski) Tyburski, he had resided in East Hartford for the past 54 years. Steve was a graduate of New Britain High School and received his teaching certificate from Connecticut Teachers College (CCSU). He was a proud World War II Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was an instructor of electronics at A. I. Prince Technical School in Hartford for over 35 years as well as the Director of the Evening School. He was an avid golfer and member of Oak Ridge Country Club in Feeding Hills, MA. He also enjoyed fishing, woodworking, painting, photography and playing the keyboard. Besides his caring wife Jean, Steve is survived by his son Thomas J. Tyburski and his wife, Wendy, of Berlin, his two daughters Cheryl A. Breindel and her husband, Jeff, of Kensington and Linda DeLuca and her husband, Nick, of South Windsor; and his eight adored grandchildren: Jerrica Breindel, Jay Breindel, Jared Breindel, Kristina DeLuca, Michela DeLuca, Lauren DeLuca, Karlena Tyburski and Sherilyn Tyburski. He also leaves three sisters: Ann Krashefski of Moodus, Jean Higgins and her husband, Robert, of New Britain, and Hedy Tyburski of New Britain, a brother-in-law Robert Charamut and his wife, Barbara, of Newington and a sister-in-law Laura Tyburski of New Britain. He was predeceased by his brothers Frank Tyburski of New Britain and Cas Tyler of Birmingham, AL. Funeral Services will be Friday, October 31, at 9:30 a.m. from the D'ESOPO-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Church, 370 May Road, East Hartford. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hebron Avenue, Glastonbury.
