Sandra "Susie" Lee Borelli

Sandra Lee “Susie” Borelli, 73 of Glastonbury, peacefully passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Parkway Pavilion, Enfield. Susie was born March 8, 1949 and raised in Windsor by Howard and Jeanette (Gagnon) Blinn.

She was employed as a bartender at Il Capriccio Ristorante on Franklin Avenue, Hartford for over 30 years. Being the outgoing person that she was, she made many friends over the years, not only at the ristorante but along Franklin Avenue as well.

Susie loved traveling. She also had a great love of animals, especially cats. She was a longtime volunteer of the Sadie Mae Foundation, donating countless hours during many fundraising events to save the lives of animals.

Susie will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of her family, her brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Debbie Blinn of Somers and her sister, Sandy Blinn of Florida, as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family members. Susie was predeceased by her brothers, Richard, Robert, and James Blinn.

Friends and relatives are welcome to attend a graveside memorial service Wednesday, April 13 at 1:45 p.m. in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, 1 Cottage Grove Rd., Bloomfield with Rev. John Melnick officiating.
