Nancy Infante

Nancy (Rivera) Infante, 58, of East Hartford, loving wife of over 40 years of Luis A. Infante, entered into eternal life on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford with family members by her side. Born in Anasco, Puerto Rico on June 8, 1966, she had been a resident of East Hartford for the past 30 years. After graduating college with her bachelor’s degree in finance, Nancy went to work in banking, starting at the former Connecticut Bank & Trust, and continuing at Bank of America in their Philanthropy Trust Department in East Hartford where she has been for the past 40 years. Nancy loved the outdoors and nature and would often exercise, ride her bicycle, and walk her dog. She enjoyed traveling, watching the Summer and Winter Olympics, and was an avid reader. Most of all, Nancy was a proud and devoted wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.

Along with her beloved husband Luis, Nancy is survived by her father, Serafin Rivera of Hartford; her mother, Teresia Gonzalez of New Britain; two sisters, Moriama Gonzalez of New Britain, Joanna Carrasquillo of Newington; two brothers, Jose Rivera and his wife Lizette of Wallingford, Danny Rivera of Ocala, FL; her adored dog, Bruno; several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, co-workers, and dear friends. She was predeceased by a brother, Jose Carrasquillo of New Britain.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday (December 6, 2024) at 11 am at St. Christopher Church, North American Martyrs Parish, 538 Brewer Street East Hartford. Everyone is invited to meet at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street East Hartford from 9:30 am – 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery, (Section 24 – Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe), Bloomfield. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home chapel Thursday (December 5, 2024) from 4 – 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Nancy’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, P.O.
