Kimberly Romano

Kimberly Evelyn (Main) Romano of East Hartford, born February 14, 1961, loving mother of Mario and Martina Romano, grandmother of Michael Davis, was carried away by the angels unexpectedly Thursday, May 31st, surrounded by her loving family. Kim is survived by her sisters, Pam Armando, Donna Lord, Charlene Sirois, and Ruth Main; her brothers, Robert Main, Gary Main, Brian Main, and Rich Armando; the father of her children, Salvatore Romano, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, John Main II and Virginia Pollard; and brothers, John Main III, Kenneth Main, Richard Main, and Jeffrey Main.

Knowing Kim guaranteed that you had a friend. Her door was always open and she never turned her back on anyone. She was blessed with many gifts, one of them being her beautiful voice. A natural nurturer, Kim prided her self on being a stay at home mom, or as she called it, a domestic engineer. She was passionate about everything she did and left a lasting impression on everyone she met. In Kim's memory we ask that you live every day with an open heart and open mind, smile often, and most of all, "be here now".

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 7 at 11am at St. James' Episcopal Church, 2584 Main St, Glastonbury, CT 06033. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
