Born in Hartford, CT to the late Roger and Eugenia (Werner) Fyler on August 18, 1947, Jean graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1965.
She married her husband of 50 years, the late William Caruso in January 1967. Together, they loved and raised their children in East Hartford, CT and retired to Arizona in 2004.
Jean was a homemaker for many years and worked as an East Hartford school bus driver and for JC Penney in Manchester, CT. A talented artist, Jean loved drawing and making handmade greeting cards. She loved dancing and music; her favorites being Elton John and Elvis Presley. She was the life of every party and was loved by all her knew her.
Jean is survived by her children; Daniel W. Caruso (Danielle) of Coventry, CT, Anthony L. Caruso (Keith) of Seattle, WA, and Lynda J. Caruso of Peoria, AZ. Jean leaves behind three grandchildren; Collin, Alexa, and Maddox, and one great-grandchild Daniel. Along with four siblings; Edward Fyler of Broad Brook, CT, Arlene Marotta of Sun City, AZ, Betty Westover of Broad Brook, CT, and Richard Fyler of Willington, CT and several beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband, Jean was predeceased by her brother George Krouse of Colchester, CT.
