Gail Diane Rainville

Gail Diane Rainville age 69 passed away on 10/9/2024 at her residence after a long illness of diabetes. Gail Rainville was born 10/10/1954 in Hartford CT. She is predeceased by her parents Robert and Charlotte Rainville, her sister Donna Rainville and her brother Michael Rainville of Florida and her aunt Catherine Benoit. Gail was employed by Aetna insurance in Hartford ct for 38 years. She was a lifelong resident of East Hartford CT. Gail enjoyed shopping and in her spare time she also enjoyed crocheting. Gail will always be remembered for her smile and her laughter. She is survived by her life long partner John Stevens and her sister Sandra and Louis St. John of Manchester CT. Her sister Rita Doucette of East Hartford CT., sister Patty Marzano of Manchester CT., brother Frank Rainville of Colchester CT., her brother Rene Rainville of Vernon CT. and his wife Patty Rainville. Also nieces and nephews and she loved them all. Also step daughters Tracy James and husband Mathew James and their son Michael James . Step daughter Robin Duclau, Chris and Zack and two step great grand daughters . And her beloved pet dog son ALEX......

Calling Hours will be held at Newkirk and Whitney Funeral Home 318 Burnside Ave East Hartford on Thursday October 17th from 10AM-12PM. A Prayer Service will be held immediately following at 12PM at Newkirk and Whitney Funeral Home. Burial will be private at request of the family at a later date
