Edgardo Arroyo

Edgardo “Ed” Arroyo, 62, of Hartford, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Hartford on October 10, 1959, a son of Eusebio Arroyo of Vineland, NJ and the late Guillermina (Gaston) Arroyo, he had been a life-long resident of the Hartford area. Edgardo was a talented carpenter in the area and specialized in home improvements. He enjoyed all genres of music and was always the “DJ” at family gatherings. He was also an avid fan of the New England Patriots.

In addition to his father, Edgardo is survived by his wife, Luz Baez of Hartford; three brothers, Jessie Arroyo and his wife Carmen of Windsor, Arnaldo Arroyo of Rockville, James Arroyo and his wife Cynthia of East Hartford; two sisters, Vilna Dieppa of Florida, Ibis Arroyo of Hartford; a sister-in-law, Iris Baez of East Hartford; a brother-in-law, Raul Baez of East Hartford; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Edgardo’s family will receive relatives and friends at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 4 – 6 pm. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in Edgardo’s name may be made to a favorite charity of the donor’s choice.
