On July 3, 1919 at tiny 3lb. baby was born at the family homestead on Arlington Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA.
Dolores was the daughter of the late Michael and Pauline (Soller) Szeman and was the sister of Howard Szeman of Carrick, PA.
In 1925, the Szeman family moved into their brand new home on Overbrook Blvd, Carrick, PA. Dolores graduated from Carrick High School with the class of 1937. After graduation, Dolores worked for the United State Engineering Army Corp. and was supervisor to many young women. During WWII Dolores took dancing lessons and was selected by her dance instructor to perform many nights on stage at the Nixon Theater in downtown Pittsburgh. Her long flowing gowns were made by her mother Pauline. In 1946 Dolores met her future husband John at a dance while John attended school. John and Dolores married on a beautiful fall day October 4, 1947 at St. Basils Church in Carrik, PA. Dolores wore a beautiful gown designed with three Vogue patterns made by her mother and Aunt Helen.
Moving to Glastonbury in 1955 and settling in South Windsor in 1958.
Dolores husband John B. Baribault Sr. passed away on September 1, 1997. Dolores leaves three children, John B. Baribault Jr. (Kathleen) of Glastonbury, Lisa Wagner (Gary) of Simsbury, and Paula Bowman (Frank) of Gloversville, NY. Three grandchildren Scott Bowman of Rhode Island, Katryna Albert (Jason) of South Glastonbury, John Baribault III of Old Lyme, four great grandchildren Ryan, Mason and Brooks Albert and Julianna Baribault. A cousin Bonny Sue Trelease of Koppel, PA. Many nieces and nephews, also her grand dog and best buddy, a chubby red Dachshund Stanley. Per Dolores request services will be private.
