Barbara M. Burns

Barbara Bailey Burns, 87, of East Hartford, CT., the beloved wife of the late Mark O'Reilly Burns Jr., peacefully departed this life on May 8, 2013 in the company of her family. Barbara was a daughter of the late Harry and Blanche Bailey of West Haven, CT. Barbara was a loving mother and grandmother, a voracious reader, a tenacious bridge player and a loyal friend. She will be dearly missed by her family, son Mark O'Reilly Burns III, daughters Amanda Klemyk and her husband James, Barbara Kleitz and her husband Kenneth and Elizabeth Kehoe and her husband James, grandchildren Christian Burns, Erin Klemyk, Emily and Alison Kehoe and Daniel Kleitz.

Friends and family are welcome to gather on Saturday, May 11th, 2013 from 11am to 12:30pm for a period of visitation at Newkirk and Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford CT 06018. A Memorial Service will follow immediately at 12:30pm. Burial is private and at the convenience of the family.
