Kay, I will always remember the great times we had at the Lake, you are a very kind and generous Lady, and will be missed by many! I am thankful for the fun memories!

Years ago we had a fish aquarium. At one point our guppies had babies. Aunt Kay and Marian (my mom) celebrated that. They acted so silly and cheered like they had won the lottery. Fun memories.

Dear Family - Please know you are not alone in your loss of such a wonderful, funny, and loving person as Kay.  We became fast friends at Silver Lake in 2013 when we moved to Prentice Tract.  There was never a more welcome smile and a laugh full of joy, except for Marion's of course!  We were blessed to know Kay and are blessed to have her family to call our friends.    We will toast to her life as soon as the snow and ice melt off in the Spring.  God Bless  Tammy and Ron Lathan

Hi, my father was Doug Barnes and my grandpa Gordon was Kay's cousin. I am so sorry to hear about this. I really liked Kay. My family and I would frequently run into her and Marian at the Attica Legion on Friday nights or for the annual Barnes-McCormick family reunion 
and she would always say hello as soon as we saw each other. Please accept my deepest condolences. 

Norm and I are so sorry for your loss and have many great memories. We recall fun at the lake, making maple syrup, card playing, parties galore and outdoor events. Mostly we remember Don and Kay as our treasured friends. God bless you all.

Aunt Kay will be so missed.  There are way too many fond memories to mention.  Aunt Kay and Uncle Don were pretty much an extension of our family because we were together so much.  There was always a card game going on and maybe a little alcohol being enjoyed! We had so many good times starting in East Aurora, then the farm and definitely at Silver Lake. The memories will last a lifetime. Love you. 

Very sad to hear of Kay’s passing. I have been a friend of the family since meeting Sheila 30 years ago. Enjoyed Kay’s company visiting her and the family at the lake for years; her laughter and sense of humor always infectious. Kay was a wonderful wife, mother and friend; I loved her dearly. We were all so fortunate to have known her;  she will really  be missed. 

I have such fond memories of Aunt Kay laughing with everyone at the lake and sometimes adding a quick quip followed by more laughter. She was so creative and crocheted baby blankets, afghans and we became ardent Buffalo Bills fans with the chairs she made emblazoned with the 🦬 logo. 

Our summers in the Buffalo area visiting Mom’s sisters and brothers  were so precious as we got to know our cousins, aunts and uncles, milk cows, go to a county fair and learn about 4H. 

Aunt Kay will be greatly missed by so many and I was blessed to be her niece.

So sorry to hear of Kay's passing. We grew up together and played  in her front yard.  At that time I was Carol George.  She was also a sister-in-law to  my sister  Shirley George Weatherbee. I know Kay went straight to Heaven.


Aunt Kay’s passing is a sad time for all of us. I’ll always remember her laugh, her honesty, and the pride she had in her family. She was certainly blessed with great kids, many grandchildren and even great grandchildren. She was often the life of the party and someone I always looked forward to seeing when visiting NY.  She made me a very beautiful afghan years ago and I still treasure it. Aunt Kay, you’ll be missed.

My deepest condolences to the Weatherbee family. Aunt Kay provided so many fun family memories at your house, the pond,  Silver Lake,  and McCormick reunions & holidays.  I'll never forget your moms big smile & laugh!  She brought joy to so many.  She will be missed.....Love Gail
