I was so saddened to hear about the loss of this wonderful woman. Cathy was one of my absolute favorite EACC members. She would lighten up a room on the worst of days and ALWAYS have a smile on her face. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. 

Mrs. Melas was a truly special woman. She was always so kind, genuine and a joy to talk with. I had the pleasure of serving her at EACC for 7 years and will miss her greatly.  Praying for Mr. Melas and the entire family.

Behind every person, there is a great mother. In just the short time I've been around Nate, I knew an amazing mother was behind him. Me and my family send our deepest condolences to the Melas family, we have your back in these hard times. 

We will always remember Cathy by her beauty,   her smile,  her kindness, her laughter, and  her generous giving to others.  She will be  sadly missed but thought of often with  happy memories.

Another beautiful picture of Cathy.  It captures her gentle nature and kind spirit.  She was always the first one to volunteer to help at the Club and she always brought all the supplies!  
It was such a pleasure to play a round with her.  I could hit the worst shot in the world and she would say "Oh Mary, don't worry, your next shot will be better!"  
Our Pro Day Team just won't be the same without her...

Cathy was such a fun and happy person...always a smile and a helping hand...that was Cathy!  We will miss her so...

Cathy was the big sister you could go to get comfort love and understanding. Never judged anyone. Had a angelic smile that you always feel great to be around. Love you Sister❤️Miss you always💕

Joyce and I are truly heartbroken over the passing of Cousin Cathy. There are many fond memories of Cathy when we were all growing up. I remember visiting the Reilly cousins in Albany for many family visits and celebrations. Always a great time and a lot of laughs! One of the most memorable was Cathy & Marks wedding celebration. I remember her being one of the most beautiful brides I’d had ever seen. She always had a smile that was beyond radiant. We were both honored to have Cathy & Mark visit us in ATL in the early 2000’s for Easter.  I'm sorry we have not had the chance to get together more often through out the years. She will always be missed. Our deepest prayers & sympathy goes out to Mark and the Melas & Reilly families. May God protect & bless Cathy.

EACC was a richer place because of Cathy’s contributions and beautiful spirit.  We will miss her smile and cheerfulness.

I didn't know you well like my parents, good friends of yours from the country club, but I will never forget your kindness. Your wedding gifts and prayers for us when I was in the hospital both times this past summer praying for my recovery and our twins that we lost. My mom would tell me how you checked in almost everyday and would pray for me and although I never had a chance to tell you, it meant more than you know.  Gone way too soon - you will be missed. Rest in peace Cathy.

Dave and I sat at the EACC Presidents Ball 2021 table with Cathy and Mark.   We discussed their winter plans to head south.   I asked Cathy when they would be returning  to WNY and her answer to me was "oh by Mothers day for sure it's my favorite holiday"  I am very sorry for your loss, I know how much her family means to her.   I had been praying for a Christmas Miracle for all of you.   God Bless and  I hope that your memories will bring you comfort and peace.  Judy & Dave Smith

We sat together at the 2021 Presidents Ball and we discussed how much she and Mark were looking forward to “getting away” from the winter weather.   I asked when they would be returning and I will never forget Cathy’s answer - we will be home by Mother’s Day! It’s my favorite day of the year.   I was praying for a Christmas miracle so happy that I knew you, Rest In Peace and God Bless you and all who love you! 


Cathy wasn't just another client I cleaned for. 
She was my angel on earth. My second mom. 
She knew me like the back of her hand. Called me out when I was sad. Cried happy tears when I told her I was engaged. 
Every other Friday was my favorite day of the week. Walking into her house and hearing her say "hey Lin"
She loved her family with all her heart. I could go on and on about our inside jokes. Or the way she said "red bull"
Or they way her face lit up with so much love when she talked about her grandson Henry. 
This woman has touched my life in the best way I could ever imagine I will remember her forever. She is now my angel. Deepest condolences sent out to "marky mark" Abby, Eli, Zack and Nate 


Thank you, Cathy, for teaching me to love golf for the fresh air, sunshine, and lunch afterward!  You are truly always in my heart.
