Carl R. Burger

BURGER - Carl R. Of East Aurora NY. Born December 15, 1949, passed into Heaven on Friday June 24, 2022. Carl was a firm foundation for his family and was hardworking for the ones he loved most. He led his life with honorable actions and taught his children valuable life lessons in doing so. He will be remembered as a proud marine, veteran, and patriot but most all he will be remembered for that little boy that was smart enough to outsmart the bullies on his way home from school, the man who loved telling a quirky joke or busting out his guitar and playing some tunes to entertain his family and friends, the loving husband to his soul mate Janis (who are now reunited), a friend, companion, and constant in an ever-changing world, and a doting and supportive father and grandfather who helped shape, nurture, and sculpt the individuals we are today. Carl is survived by his two daughters and their husbands, Jamie and Daniel Sarata and Tiffany and Richard Walczak; and a proud grandfather to his grandchildren, Ian Sarata, Elias Sarata, Ona Sarata, and Maverick Walczak.
