Leon "Haystack" J. Czarniak

Leon J. Czarniak, known to friends as Haystack, age 71, of Cheektowaga, New York passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023. Leon was the cherished son of the late Leon D. and late Mildred Czarniak; loving brother of Lynn (Joel) Papke and the late Virginia A. Auten; dear uncle of William H. (Amy Kearns Auten), Christopher M. (Tracy) Auten and Amie (Arthur) Wager; also survived by great nieces and nephews and many friends. Haystack was a proud member of the Cleveland Hill Fire Department. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday October 27, 2023 at 10 AM at Infant of Prague RC Church 921 Cleveland Drive Cheektowaga, NY. A private committal will immediately follow. Flowers are gratefully declined.
