Dear Smith Family,
           My deepest condolences to you and your family. No words can take away your pain but continue to hold close to your heart all the sweet memories of Jimmy. I've only met him briefly but have heard so many kind and remarkable comments from so many people!

Our hearts are so heavy for your family - this is something no one should have to go through.  Jimmy was a wonderful young man, always ready to help and then not wanting to accept anything in return.  That cute blondie grew up too quickly - he didn’t like his picture taken too often.  We will always carry him in our hearts and picture him pulling wheelies with the ATV - a rascal to the end.

I’m at a loss for words. Sorry doesn’t seem to fit to well.  We didn’t share many memories but the ones I have I will cherish.

Id like to offer my condolences to Jimmy's family! I'm so sorry for your loss.  Jimmy I just spoke with you a couple weeks ago , I wish I would have took more time to talk with you! I miss you buddy 😢.. I will remember the help you have given me and  with my transmission. You would always make me laugh , even if you didn't mean too!

To the Smith Family. Jordan and I are saddened to hear of Jimmy's passing. He was an amazing man, always willing to help a friend. We can remember many times Jimmy would be wrenching on something at the house and join us for dinner afterward. He was humble and genuine and always appreciative of the little things. We're sure there's a Cummins in heaven waiting for him to tinker with. We've missed Jimmy for some time now and hope he has found peace.

I’m so sorry to the smith family,
I spent a lot of time with jimmy the past two years and he was a very gifted guy, no matter what kind of day I was having he would always bring joy and happiness to us… Jimmy would only point out the positives in a negative situation.. 
example.. if my motor was blown on my truck and it was gonna cost $10k. He would look at me as serious as he could and tell me how lucky I am because I’m getting a new motor,,,
I’m gonna miss him, we all are gonna miss him and if you need anything don’t be afraid to call me

The thing about being the oldest cousin, I am able to sit back and watch the younger cousins grow up to be such wonderful people and touch so many hearts. Jim always had that smile no matter what. He left a memory with everyone he met. With his quick fix it knowledge to hiding from the camera. He didn’t say much but his smile was all that was needed and worth a thousand words. He will be missed though never forgotten.

I remember holding on to the back of the planter dragging through the dirt of the fields, building forts in that old downed Willow tree, trick-or-treating on snowy Halloween nights, and sleep-overs watching Little Rascals!  Jim you were one of my best childhood friends and will always hold a place in my heart just as he has touched those of many others. I love you cousin and you will be missed.

Dear Jim , Michelle and family, I so sorry for your loss.

I’m am deeply sorry to hear. Jimmy was always willing to help me with any project. He fueled my passion for fast and loud vehicles and he will be deeply missed. Love you cuz. Give grandma a big hug for me.

Jim was an awesome person.  Smart, friendly, and always willing to help others.  We lost him too soon, but we are all better off because we knew and loved him while he was with us.  We will never forget him.  We lost Ma Smith, Ray, and now Jim - each tremendous people who will live on through the lessons they taught us.  We are better people because we knew them, loved them, and experienced their love.
