William Ralph Hughes, Jr.

Mr. William Ralph Hughes Jr. of 105 B Coatsberry Village in Coats, departed this life on Friday, August 30, 2018 being 59 years of age. He was born in Nash County, on October 23, 1958 to the late William Ralph Hughes and Dorothy Thomas Hughes.

Ralph had worked as a truck driver and in his free time he enjoyed going fishing, for catfish, on the Cape Fear River. He loved all things sports, especially football. Ralph was a huge University of North Carolina and Greenbay Packers fan. He was a simple man who loved his family and his wife. He was a very caring husband always seeing to it that his wife was happy. He loved his family and his friends and always knew how to make them laugh. He will be missed.

Survivors include: His loving wife: Tracey Lee Hughes of Coats; Son: William Ralph Hughes III and wife Misty of Fuquay; Daughter: Monica Hughes Davis of Erwin: Stepson: Jonathon Heskey and wife Kristina of Erwin; Grandsons: Matthew Hughes of Fuquay, Hayden Loch of Erwin; Granddaughters: Sarah Hughes of Fuquay, Nakayla Davis of Erwin, Erica Davis of Erwin, Abigail Heskey of Erwin and Addison Dale of Erwin; Sisters: Vicky Hughes Parker and husband Ronnie of Coats, Dianne Hughes Thornton and husband Garry of Dunn, and Teresa Hughes Lee and husband John Michael of Benson.

The family of Mr. William Ralph Hughes Jr, has elected cremation and there will be no public services.
