Robert Allan Williams

Robert Allan “Robbie” Williams, age 31 of Godwin left this world tragically on Wednesday, November 9, 2022.

Robbie was born June 10, 1991 the son of Allan Williams and Sharon Hair Williams of Dunn/ Godwin. Robbie is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Floyd Hair and Joyce Burnette Hair, paternal grandfather, Leonard Williams, maternal great grandparents, Bob Burnette & Gracie Maynard Burnette, Charlie & Tunk Hair, Paternal great grandparents, Tip & Nettie Blake. Also great uncles, Bud Burnette, Robert “his namesake,” Ander, John Earl & Bobby Burnette, Charles & Buck Hair; aunts; Helen Embert, Hazel Hair and Edna Neighbors.

Robbie was a 2009 graduate of Midway High School where he played football, basketball and ran track. He was a drywall, trim installer and painter by trade, his hobby/passion has always been drawing. Robbie was a proud member of the Coharie Tribe and his native name “Wind Runner.”

To know Robbie was to love Robbie, he was an outgoing and kind person. He had beautiful eyes and a smile that would light up a room. It made his day to make a woman smile, no matter age or race by saying “Hello Beautiful” that was Robbie.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mandy Gibert officiating.

He is survived by: his parents: Allan & Sharon Williams of Godwin, NC.

A Brother: Justin Williams of Dunn, NC.

Sisters: Cheyenne Williams & (Ethan) of Fayetteville, NC and Ariel Williams of Godwin, NC.

Paternal Grandmother: Paula Blake Horne & (Edward) of Clinton, NC.

Aunts: Shelby Hair Tyndall & (Mike), Wanda Williams Justice & (Scott) and Terri Williams. Uncle: Russell Kerns.

Nephews: Grayson & Justin Allan “Boogie” the center of his world, Nieces: Mila & Sofia.

Cousins: Jessie Tyndall (Brittany), Christina T. Hardin (Tyler), Mitchell, Shag & Sean Tyndall, Dakota Justice (Sarah), Brandon Tyndall (Gabby), Tiffany T. Boykin (Billy), Brandie C, Thomas (David), Nick Lee and Milton Wilson.

Great Uncle: Willie Hair (Betty) and Great Aunt: Linda Baucom and Carolyn Hair.

Special Childhood friends: Derrick Maynard, Connor Grace and Jeremy Robinson, John Bryant and Lee Hudson. Special friend and ex-wife: Amanda Beirne.

Robbie touched the lives of many people and he will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, November 15, 2022 from 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home in Dunn, NC and at other times at the home of Allan and Sharon Williams, 210 Covenant Lane, Godwin, NC.
