Lena Frances Jackson

Linden, NC Mrs. Lena “Lyn” Frances Jackson, age 75, of Hawkins Rd., Linden died Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Jackson was born in Cumberland County on November 15, 1942 the daughter of the late James Henry Jackson & Mary Elizabeth Hawkins Jackson and is preceded in death by her sisters, Lois Yeoman & Mary Alice Wilson and a brother, James Henry ”Buddy” Jackson, Jr. Lyn was a homemaker at heart, but was a bookkeeper in the furniture industry for many years and then she traveled across the nation as a fine Jewelry Representative. Lyn loved all her friends and family especially her daughters and grandchildren. Her love for her Lord will leave a heritage and continue to be an inspiration for her family and all who are left to cherish her memory. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 11:00 am at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Williford, Rev. Johnny Haney, Rev. Stephen Johnson and Rev. Robert Staples officiating. She is survived by: Her Husband: Robert Jackson of the home; Daughters: Frances Donna Phillips-Young & (husband) Charles of Nacogdoches, Texas; Christi Lyn Wright of Nacogdoches, Texas; Grandchildren: J.R. Phillips & Taryn Christina Wright; Brother: LeRoy Jackson & Doris of Linden, NC; Step-Daughter: Deborah Jackson Hahn of Linden, NC; Step-Sons: Bobby Jackson of Hope Mills, NC; Daniel Jackson of Fayetteville, NC;Many Nephews, Nieces, Cousins & Loved One; The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home in Dunn.
