She was born on November 26, 1953, in Marlboro Co., SC to the late Ruben Hainey Jr. and Lila Mae Driggers Swofford.
A true Clemson fan at heart “Go Tigers” everyone knew. Traveling especially to the beach and mountains was her favorite. She was a very simple and humble person.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles P. Swofford and a brother, George Hainey.
She is survived by a son, Donnie Andrews (Kristin) of Angier, NC; a daughter Stephanie Bracey, of Lake City, SC; two grandson, Quentin Andrews, of Covington, IN and Kolten Andrews, of Angier, NC. She is also survived by a half-brother Billy Goggins; a sister-in-law, Christina Norton (Charles); and three nephews, George Hainey, Harold Hainey, and Richard Hainey.
