Mrs. Frances was the daughter of the late Earnest Fowler and Florence Floyd Fowler born unto them on September, 02, 1935 in Cleveland County, North Carolina.
On March 08, 1952 she married the love of her life, her husband of 47 years the late Dallie Autry and to this union three children were born.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was proceeded in death by a son Jimmy Autry and daughter in law Gail Autry Covill.
Mrs. Frances had spent her life being a devoted homemaker and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She wasn't just Granny Frances to the children who shared her blood but also to many other children who she had been a caregiver for over the years. She had also been a member of the Mount Elam Baptist Church for over 50 years where she also served as a Sunday school teacher.
Mrs.Frances was known for her wonderful home cooked meals as she had been an excellent cook. She enjoyed working on the farm, traveling, shopping and loved to spend her free time with a good book. She spent many days under the oak tree swinging with friends and family, which was her favorite spot.
Left behind to cherish her memory are the following members of her family: Her daughters: Gail Ziady and husband Dennis; and Michelle Honeycutt. Grandchildren: Chad Ziady and wife Amanda, Heather Lane and husband George, Tiffany Horne and husband Jason and Carson Honeycutt; and one great grand daughter: Peyton Horne. She also leaves behind many other nieces, nephews and friends.
You are cordially invited to a time of visitation at the Mount Elam Baptist Church located at 2211 Mount Elam Church Rd, Roseboro, NC 28382 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
A funeral service to commemorate the life of Carrie Frances Autry will be conducted at 3:00 PM at the Mount Elam Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Long and Brandon Glunt officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Autry Daniels Cemetery with: Jason Horne, George Lane, Michael Autry, Blake Lane, Brent Crizer and Gerald Jackson serving as pallbearers.
