William Victor Matthews

Loving husband of the late Margaret for 56 years. Much loved father of Ian (Linda) and Bill (Jill). Grandfather of Kristine (Sarah), Kathleen (Enrique), Colin (Jessica), Kraig (Hope) and Jonathan (Rafaela). Special thanks to his dear friend Rick Robins for his care and companionship.

Bill was involved in many organizations over the years including the Institute of Power Engineers, longstanding member of the Conservative Party of Canada, active member of Dundas Minor Hockey and Dundas Minor Baseball. Was a retired employee with Petro Canada Oakville Refinery for 25 years. He loved travelling and gardening with his wife, Margaret. His family was his greatest love.

Visitation will be held at Marlatt Funeral Home “Swackhamer Chapel”, 195 King Street West, Dundas, on Wednesday, October 30th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Marlatt Chapel on Thursday, October 31st, 2024 at 11am. Interment to follow at Grove Cemetery, Dundas. Reception to follow.
