Peter Timothy Henry

Predeceased by his mother and father, Edith (McGuire) and Frank Henry, Peter will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 56 years, Heather (nee Johnstone), his children Peter (Michelle), Catherine and Michael (Erin & Josh), his grandchildren Daniella, Rachel, Nicholas, Juliana and Matti, along with his brother Brian (John), dear brother-in-law of Mary Duncan and the late Al Johnstone (Barb and their family). He will also be missed by his two remaining aunts Patsy McManus and Noreen Hynes, along with his many cousins and close friends.

Peter retired after 25 years of service as a Field Technician at the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board. He was a gentle, kind, and loving man whose biggest joy in life was spending time with his loving wife, children, grandchildren, family, and many friends. His sense of humor, wit and funny mannerisms will be greatly missed at family gatherings.

A special thank you to the wonderful team at the Firestone Institute for Respiratory Health (FIRH) and the Step-Down ward at St. Joseph’s hospital who’s care and compassion meant so much to us.

Visitation will be held at Marlatt Funeral Home, Swackhamer Chapel, 195 King Street West, Dundas, Ontario on Thursday November 23rd from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Augustine's Parish, 58 Sydenham St, Dundas, ON L9H 2T9, on Friday November 24, at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul or the Firestone Institute for Respiratory Health (FIRH).
