At St. Joseph’s Villa in Dundas on November 15th in her 93rd year, Letty left to meet her creator. She was predeceased by her parents, Wiliam (1969) and Martha (1994) Bodden, also by her loving second husband, Wilfred Bennett (1992). Letty will be missed by her cousin, Joseph Henriques (Helen) of Newmarket and Donny Hunter (Vera) of the Caymen Islands, her best friends, Betty Wilson, Valerie Pouget and Colleen D’Amico, and many family members and friends in Canada, the United States, England and the Cayman Islands. Retired employee of Canadian National Railways, past president of CN Pensioners Association of Hamilton, former member and past president of the Hamilton Tip Toppers Club. Longtime member of St. Giles United Church and the United Church Women’s Association, member of the “Gospelaires” for many years and “Mom” to many of her refugee friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 24th from 10-11am at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME “Swackhamer Chapel” 195 King Street West, Dundas with a Funeral Service to follow at 11am. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to World Vision Canada or the Hamilton S.P.C.A. would be greatly appreciated.
