Lauren Marie Mair-Kennedy passed away at the age of 29 on August 1, 2022 at Health Sciences North in Sudbury. She will be missed by her beloved fiancé Gregory Bullen, her mother Judy Mair, her father Harrison Kennedy, and countless friends and relations.
Lauren was as brilliant as she was beautiful. She was honest and direct, sassy and sweet, generous and kind, and she had a special sparkle about her – so many people loved her and were drawn to her. She was a huge audiophile, and loved music of almost all kinds. She was passionate about the outdoors – hiking and camping were two of her biggest joys. She died doing what she loved, swimming in Northern Ontario, where tragically she had a seizure in the water and drowned.
Lauren's family would like to thank the staff at Health Sciences North. With incredible dedication and compassion, you made the worst days of our lives slightly more bearable and for that we will be forever grateful.
A very small comfort is that Lauren was able to save several lives through the donation of her organs after her passing.
