Anna Victoria Flaherty

Anna is predeceased by parents Percy and Victoria Hamilton, her brother Henry, sisters Marjorie Tunis and Verna Allemang, grandson Joey Flaherty and her longtime, loving companion Bill Clarkson.

Anna is survived by her sister Shirley Bassett and sister in law Betty Hamilton, her children Luanne Flaherty, Mike and Kathie Flaherty, Johnny and Sue Flaherty, Darlene and Reg Unruh, Jim and Janice Flaherty and Denise and the late Chris Birdsell. She was a loving Nana to thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Anna will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, the Clarkson family and her many close friends.

Special thanks to the staff at the Georgian Retirement Home and the compassionate care given at St. Joseph’s Hospital. The family will be forever grateful for the wonderful support, care and kindness from her family Dr. Kate Prangely.

Visitation will be held at the Marlatt Funeral Home, “Swackhamer Chapel” 195 King Street West, Dundas on Tuesday, April 30th from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May 1st at 11am. Burial will follow at Grove Cemetery in Dundas.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
