Robert Macias

Robert Macias was born April 8,1951 in Dallas, Texas and went home to meet the Lord on January 2, 2018 at the age of 66. Robert is preceded in death by his father, Louis Macias Sr. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Guadalupe Macias, son Giovanni Macias and wife Sandra, daughter Lydia Paredes and husband Steve, son Anthony Macias and wife Michelle, son Robert Macias Jr. and partner Tim, and 12 grandchildren – Desiraye, Alejandra, Arianna, Steve Jr., Anthony Jr., Julyssa, Giovanni Jr., Annalise, Mark Jacob, Christian, Jasmine, and Mikayla. He is also survived by his mother, Teresa Macias, sister Mary Lou Devine and husband Bob, sister Yolanda Macias, brother Louis Macias Jr. and wife Patricia, and many other family members and friends.

Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, and traveling with the love of his life. Most of all, he prioritized and cherished spending time with his family, offering many words of wisdom and telling funny stories. Robert was also a proud Vietnam Veteran that honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1968 to 1974.

Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the funeral home. Rosary Service will begin at 7 PM with Deacon Charlie Ruelas officiating. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 AM Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Father Joe officiating. Interment will follow at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at 1 PM (Lane 1) where Military Funeral Honors will be rendered by the United States Army.
