A loving wife, mother and grandmother (Mimi), Deb, despite the restriction of her disability, made every effort to be present and supportive in the lives of her family and friends till the day she passed. Deb had a love for gardening, enjoyed travelling to different parts of the world with her husband, and cherished the memories of many camping adventures throughout the years with family and friends.
Deb had been battling Scleroderma, a rare auto immune disease, over the last 12 years. Very shortly after Rod, her husband of 45 years suddenly passed in September 2022, Deb was diagnosed with Lung Cancer and a short year later, Brain Cancer.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Rod, and her parents; she will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Leanne (Chris), Ashlee (John), grandchildren Katelyn, Ryder and Chelsea, and many other family members and great friends.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Scleroderma Canada, or The Heart and Stroke Foundation. A private celebration will be arranged at a later date.
