Stephen John Kambeitz

Steve was born in Springfield on June 26, 1958, to John and Judy (Drennen) Kambeitz. He graduated from Northeastern High School in 1976 and from Wittenberg University in 1979. He then moved to Columbus to begin a career at Peat Marwick. He also worked at State Savings Bank as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President, Office of the President. Steve served as Senior Vice President of Consumer Lending at Fifth Third Bank, Chief Financial Officer and President of R.C. Olmstead, Inc. and was a Massage Envy Franchisee, opening the Dublin, Lewis Center and Powell locations. He served as a Director of Park National Bank since 2010 and served on the board of The American Home Foundation. Steve enjoyed playing golf, boating, traveling with his family and spending time at their second home in Arizona.

Steve is survived by his wife, Julie (Gerken) Kambeitz, his children, Brendan (Nicole) Kambeitz and Elizabeth (Robert) Hartwell; grandchildren, William, Charles, Jacob and Olivia; mother, Judith (Drennen) Kambeitz and sister, Kathy (Bob) Drow; nephews, Eddie (Natalie) Drow and John Drow and 3 nieces. Steve was also a special “Bonus Dad” to Alissa and Ryan Rodgers along with grandchildren Jacob, Jude, Bowen, Ford, Sadie and Willow.

He was preceded in death by his father, John M. Kambeitz in 2003.

The family will receive friends at Schoedinger Dublin, 5890 Perimeter Dr. on Wednesday, November 6th, from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 7th, at St. Brigid of Kildare Church, 7179 Avery Road, Dublin, Ohio. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Springfield, Ohio
