Robert E. Fultz passed away May 4, 2023 in Naples, Florida. He was born May 24, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio, where he met the love of his life Judy McClannan at age 10 when his family moved in across the street. They married in 1963 and raised 3 beloved children. Their love endures, nearly 60 years later. Bob had a strong foundation in the Christian Faith and his values and integrity were evident in all he did. He graduated from The Ohio State University and was an avid Buckeye football fan, rarely missing a game. He graduated from the University of Michigan Law School and was a partner with Porter Wright Law Firm in Columbus. His father Clair was the founder and CEO of Huntington Bancshares Inc. Bob lived life to the fullest, balancing work and family life, rarely missing family dinner. He enjoyed fine dining and was a wine connoisseur. He loved to travel the US and abroad (especially summers in the mountains), was a voracious reader, a patron of the arts, and supporter of many charities. In 2001 Bob and Judy retired to Naples, Florida, enjoying the sun and beach, spending time with their friends, and discovering the joy of being grandparents. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clair and Isabelle (Eichelberger) Fultz, sisters; Karen Crain, and Pamela Harrison. He is survived by his wife Judy, children; Cynthia (Dennis) Boothe, Jennifer (Scott) Fitzgerald, Stephen (Tess) Fultz; grandchildren; Lauren, Allison, and Matthew Fultz; Megan (Sara) Carder, Haley and Ashley Fitzgerald; and several nephews.
