James Wesley Brown

James Wesley Brown, age 83, formerly of Mount Victory passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022. He was born October 4, 1938 to the late Percy N. and Celesta O. Brown. On November 23, 1960, he married Donna I. Snyder. Jim is survived by his wife of 61 ½ years and his son, James W. Brown II; a grandson, Caleb Brown of Beavercreek, OH, and daughter in law, Terrie Brown, brothers, Bernard, Russell and Ervin and sister, Sarah, several nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Brown on July 24, 2021; five brothers, one sister. Jim was a graduate of Mount Victory High School, Jim worked at B. F. Goodrich in Green Camp and retired as a semi-truck driver. Jim was also a member of North Columbus Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and took care of the lawn for several years. He will surely be missed by his brothers and sisters in Christ. Family will receive friends at SCHOEDINGER DUBLIN, 5980 Perimeter Rd. Dublin, OH 43016 on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 10 am until time of funeral service at 12 p.m. Interment will take place at 2 p.m. the same day at McDonald Fairview Cemetery in Kenton, OH.
