Donald James Morgan

Donald James Morgan, 91 of Columbus/Plain City, Ohio, passed away peacefully into the Lord’s Heavenly care on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. He was born on May 7, 1933 in Columbus, Ohio to his late mother and father Josephine and Arleigh Morgan.

He is survived by son, Brad (Amy) Morgan of Marysville, Ohio, grandchildren, Joshua (Chavon) White, Aashley, Brinkley (Zach Moretti) Morgan, Shawn (Taylor Pritchard) Morgan and Carley (Alex Snyder) Morgan; great grandchildren, Alexis White (Derek Caswell), Brayden White, Aiden White, Zoey White, Athena Snyder, Maia Snyder, and Prince Louie Morgan. He is also survived by Jeff Cesner, Connie Leadbetter, Pat Hendrick, Joyce Steward, Tom Stephen, and many other cousins, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Joan Morgan of 64 years, Bill Stephen (step father), maternal grandparents, Henry and Hilda Morgan, and great granddaughter, Madison White.

Don was a graduate of Columbus North high school and Ohio Tech. A longtime member of Maize Manor United Methodist Church. Don was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Don worked for Yardley Plastics, Celanese Plastics, U Brand, and Mueller. Don was a member of EAA Young Eagles for many years.

Family and friends will be received at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Dr. Dublin, OH 43017 on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm where funeral service will be Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 10:00 am. Entombment to follow at Kingwood Memorial Park, Lewis Center, Ohio.
