Steven Thomas Boozer Mr. Steven Thomas Boozer, age 73, of Douglasville, GA passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015. He was born January 28, 1942 in Jacksonville, AL to Floyd Henry and Sula Millie Boozer. Boozer was considered by many to be an icon in his community. He was a pioneer business owner in Douglasville and at one time had three hair salons. He enjoyed watching football, playing cards, general rascalry and really loved spending time with his family, especially fishing with his grandchildren.
Mr. Boozer is preceded in death by his parents, wife Susan Carol Boozer, sisters Gloria Boozer and Charlotte Bundrum as well as great-grandson Abram Fountain.
He is survived by his daughters Kim Fountain, Wesley Patino and Wendi (Marshall) Day; brothers Ladson, Don and Larry Boozer; sisters Edna Alldredge, Carolyn Oakley, Faye Lumpkin and Robbie Medders; grandchildren Bobby Fountain, Brant Fountain, Blake Fountain, Sula Ann Patino, Walker Patino and Marshall Thomas Day; great-grandchildren Annabelle Fountain, Brody Fountain and Asher Fountain as well many nieces, nephews and other family members.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Grace Presbyterian Church (5000 Stewart Mill Road Douglasville, GA 30135 770-489-6758) at 2 o’clock pm with Rev. Cliff I. Daniel and Don Boozer officiating. A reception will follow.
