Robin Elaine Freeman, age 63, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, July 6, 2020. She was born March 28, 1957 in Carrollton, Georgia. Robin was a 1975 graduate of Douglas County High School. An avid photographer, she was the family photographer and was always taking photos. She loved going to the beach, especially walking on the beach and picking up seashells. Her sunset photos at the beach are extraordinary. She was a member of Canaan Fellowship Baptist Church singing special songs during Sunday services. Robin loved children and was loved as “Aunt Robin” by the children of friends and family for the past 45 years.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Howard Sidney and Syble Rudine (Williams) Freeman.
Robin is survived by her sisters, Jeanette Freeman and Gloria (Joseph) Farrell; her brother, David Freeman; nephews, Caleb (Brooke) Freeman, Brad (Jennifer) Farrell and Josh (Jessica) Farrell; niece, Kristy (Ryan) Henson; four great nephews, four great nieces, and other family and friends.
A graveside service will be Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Cross Plains Baptist Church Cemetery, 1356 Cross Plains Road, Carrollton, Georgia 30116. The service will begin at 10:30 AM with Reverend Kent Cole officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Robin’s memory to Canaan Fellowship Baptist Church, 6251 Allen Road SE, Mableton, Georgia 30126.
