He was born in Carrollton, Georgia on October, 3, 1933, the son of the late Joel A Reeves and the late Annie Ruth Ingram Reeves. He was a retired supervisor in the snack food division for Printpack Corporation. Robbie was an avid sports fan of baseball and football. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Douglasville, Georgia. Robbie was a proud veteran having served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict.
He is survived by his wife of thirty one years, Shirley Reeves, children, Jeffrey L. Reeves (Sonja), Robin Reeves Jackson (Victor), Joey Reeves (Kathy), Pam Morris (Jay), Tami Yancey (Robby), Chad Fowler (Tracey); grandchildren, Kendall Reeves (Fiance, J. C. Sibala), Stephanie Putich (Braden), David Jackson, Lauren Andrews (David), Chris Jackson (Megan), Austin Jackson (Audrey), Braxton Reeves (Anna), Samantha Reeves, Tyler Morris (Lydia), Abby Robins (Taylor), Jordan Yancey (Tasha), Brooke Harrell (Bryan), Cody Fowler (Jasmine), Kaci Cobb (Cam); nineteen great grandchildren, and sister, Mary Lou Reeves.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by six sisters, three brothers and the mother of his children, Mable Reeves.
The family will receive friends at Whitley Garner at Rosehaven Funeral Home on Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 10:00 until 12:00 p.m. The service will follow at 12:00 p.m. in Rosehaven Chapel with Pastor Terry Marbut and Pastor Wayne White officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge, Georgia.
