Halley Elizabeth Childress

Halley “Haze” Childress, born May 25, 1995, in Riverdale, GA, passed away on December 6, 2024, at the

age of 29. A beloved daughter, sister, and friend, Halley touched the hearts of everyone she met with her radiant beauty, infectious charisma, and her ability to make every person feel like a friend. Growing up in Douglasville, GA, Halley made a lasting impression on her community and remained a resident of the area at the time of her passing.

Halley was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Childress, and stepfather, Dale Carey. She is survived by her siblings, Danielle Childress (Kingston) of Kennesaw, GA; Justin and Courtney Childress

(Raylynn and Michaela) of Social Circle, GA; and Alicia and Jon Roberson (Nathan, Seth, and Justice

Grace) of Canton, GA.

Though Halley did not have children of her own, her love and warmth touched the lives of many. She was known for living her life fully, always lighting up every room she entered. A friend to all, she had an unparalleled ability to make others feel seen, heard, and loved. Halley’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her.

Her family takes comfort in knowing that her spirit, as bright and vibrant as ever, will continue to shine in their memories and in the many lives she touched. Halley will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A service for Halley will be held Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 12:00 PM . Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at Whitley Garner @ Rosehaven Memorial Park Funerals and Cremations, 8640 ROSE AVE, DOUGLASVILLE, GA 30134.
