Mr. Gerald Carter Robbins, age 81, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away Friday, March 22, 2019. He was born September 30, 1937 in Antioch, Georgia. Mr. Robbins was proud to be a City of Atlanta Fireman. He loved being outdoors, and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Mr. Robbins would help anyone in need.
Mr. Robbins was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mattie Carter Robbins.
He is survived by his sons, Gerald Glenn Robbins and William Benjamin Robbins; daughter, Jeanette Lynn Robbins; sister, Sharon Rebecca Robbins; as well as numerous other family and friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Cedartown, Georgia.
