Mr. Gary Kenneth Morgan, age 67, of Douglasville, GA, passed away Friday, March 4, 2016. He was born August 26, 1948 in Leonardtown, Maryland. Mr. Morgan was a Veteran, having served his country in the U.S. Army. He married Lavenia Page on April 28, 1979. Mr. Morgan was a pool player and was an avid fan of cowboy movies.
Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by his parents, John and Hazel Watkins Morgan; brother, John Morgan; and sister, Sandra Calhoun.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Lavenia P. Morgan; son, Kenneth (Brandi) Morgan; daughters, Josette (Greg) Williams, Angelique (Tillman) Cone, and Crystal (Corey Morrow) Morgan; brother, Allen Morgan; sisters, Renee Campbell and Teresa Morgan; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 7, 2016 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel with Mr. Rick Jenkins officiating.
