Daniel Taylor Whitney, age 35 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023. Daniel was born in Douglasville, Georgia on August 28, 1987, the son of Roy and Karen Whitney. He was employed by Douglas County.
Daniel was wild at heart. Always deep in thought and longing for more. His passion was tangible. His carisma was contagious. His intelligence was undeniable. He was an artist, in every sense of the word. He embodied music. He cherished his family. He loved his friends. He was a best friend to many. He would pray with loved ones and strangers.
He was quick to help, to defend, to show compassion, and encouragement. He was beyond quick-witted. He'd normally leave you laughing, thinking, or confused. His greatest joy was his children. He adored and admired his babies. He was so proud of them. They will carry on his name and his legacy.
He will be forever missed. And forever remembered.
He is survived by his daughter, Brileigh Sade Whitney, son Murphy Cochran, daughter, Carmella Whitney and son, Roy Whitney.
