Cathy was a very generous, hardworking friend in Living Waters. She will be missed.

I met Cathy in 1995 when I joined Scientific Games.   She was always there to help and train me and many others.    We worked together for many years on many different accounts.  We shared some laughs along the way.  She was an expert in the lottery business but more importantly she was a friend to many.   She always talked about her family especially the Grandkids!   She will be missed.

I had the privilege of knowing and working with Cathy for more than 30 years.  From a professional standpoint, Cathy made an impact on her industry and colleagues that is impossible to measure.  She never walked away from a challenge and she regularly and willingly took on tasks that others simply were not able to manage.  She and I used to jokingly call this the "burden of excellence".  Cathy often carried an extra burden at work as she was truly excellent at what she did.  As good as she was at her trade, it was Cathy's love and dedication for her family that best defines her life.  She always spoke so proudly of her family and especially her children and grandchildren.  It was easy to see  that they (along with her dog) were the center of her world.  Cathy was a wonderful person and she made us all better.  We are honored to have known her in this life.  She will truly be missed.

Cathy was "one of a kind".  She rose from very humble beginnings to become a successful business woman.  But most of all she was a devoted servant of our Savior.  She had an open heart and a love for her family and friends, but most of all for God and her Christian service.  Cathy will be greatly missed and my love goes out to her family and friends.  Heaven has gained and we on earth have suffered a great loss.  I love you, Cathy.

We are so sorry for your loss. Cathy was an important member of the Scientific Games Family for most of my 40 years of service. She was an expert at so many things but I wanted to call out one area in particular. She was great at giving away prizes! Billions in prizes. 

Cathy had perfected methods of designing prize structures (how prizes are distributed in a scratch off game). She taught SG employees her magic and the results of this expertise helped to generate billions, no kidding billions, of additional funds to good causes around the world,  Cathy’s legacy is felt by people who will never know how she helped them. But it’s important that you know.
