He was a graduate of Pebblebrook High School, class of 1979. Being around cars for most of his life, he spent a lot of time working for and helping his dad run Prewett Auto Sales. Once able, Brian opened West Georgia Discount Tires on Fairburn Road, where he made a name for himself in the community. He had a huge heart and was the funniest person you would ever know. A history buff, he was interested in the Civil War and tracing back his family’s lineage. He spent many nice days on his bike riding through old Civil War era cemeteries, such as Westview and Oakland. His chocolate lab, Purdy Puppy, was the light of his life and he enjoyed many activities with her including napping and going on car rides.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Katie Toomey and Julia Prewett; sister, Christy (Roger) Holcomb; father, Gene (Virg) Prewett; grandchild, Mila; nephew, Garrett Hayes; and niece Maggie Hayes.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm.
