Brian was born in Douglasville, Georgia on January 2, 1965 the son of Nelda Duncan Camp and the late Robert Ernest Camp. Brian was proud and honored to have been able to work with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office for thirty-seven years. During his tenure with the department, he was a dedicated law enforcement instructor. He was a beloved, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend. Brian enjoyed life to the fullest and spent time hunting deer and turkey and fly-fishing. He was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan and Atlanta Braves supporter. One of the best things he enjoyed after his retirement was the time he was able to spend with his family and friends. Brian was dedicated to his family; made sure their needs were met and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was the family grill master, loved to cook and Livi Lou said he made the best-fried rice. Brian also loved his fur babies names, Diesel, Jazzy and Hazel his wiener dog.
He is survived by his wife, Ashlie Hope Camp, children, Clay Camp, Casey Camp, Brittany Schock (Josh), Tyler Camp, Austin Musick (Liz), Cody Taylor, Gracie Taylor and Olivia Camp; Mother, Nelda Camp, sisters, Donna Rogers (David), Robyn Griffin (Vinson), Lori Lewis (Jeff); grandchildren, Brynlee Schock and Brystol Schock.
