Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Memphis Baptist Church with the Rev. Rick Glenn officiating. Byrd Funeral Home on West Main Street is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Morrison was born August 16, 1936 in Miami, Florida where he grew up. He was employed with Bell South Telephone Company for 44 years prior to his retirement. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Mr. Morrison was a classic car enthusiast and a member of Memphis Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lyn Morrison of Webb; six children, Mark Morrison, Matthew Morrison, Scott Morrison, David Hopkins, Aaron Hopkins and Diana Swain; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Carolyn Marshall of Mims, Florida.
