Our fathers worked together and we celebrated many 4th of Julys celebrating.   Pig roast and lots of delicious side dishes prepared by moms!  Fond memories of spending nights with Lisa.

Remembering Lisa and her joyful spirit from our family reunions.  Our daughters looked forward to seeing her daughter most of all at those events.  Our hearts go out to you in your sudden, unimaginably difficult loss.


So very sorry to hear about Lisa. Always enjoyed conversations and catching up with her on family stuff. We knew we were first cousins when she married Ed but turns out we are 11th cousins reaching back to the Mayflower also. Rest in peace, prayers to the family for comfort.

Having first shared high school together, it was so wonderful to have Lisa join our big Rewa family.   Time spent with Ed and Lisa was always time making great memories!  Never often enough...but always so warm and genuine and fun! Dear Lisa ...we will continue to share your memory...participating in  'your harvest'...using the beautiful rosaries you so generously gifted to so many.  Those prayers are a rich and eternal tribute to the power of faith and hope and love.   Dear Ed...and your beautiful family...you remain in our love and prayers; May you feel God's amazing strength, wisdom, guidance, and comforting presence! 

I’m so very sad to hear of Lisa’s passing!  I’m only consoled to think of all the parties and songs going on in Heaven and the retelling of tales in Old English.  Her talents and interests were many and she shared them generously with all.   The  beautiful rosary she made and gave to me for Nick’s funeral will always be a treasured possession!!   Praying for Ed and the whole family as we will miss her dearly til we meet again!!!


Aunt Lisa, 

My memories of you are a child’s memories. 

In addition to being my aunt, you were my godmother. So opportunities to talk 1:1 with you always felt a bit extra special, beyond the sheer rarity (at any Rewa party) of a space with only two people in it. As I remember it, either the house is full (in winter or a summer downpour) or everyone is outside together (absolutely any other time). 

I remember listening to you talk about things like genealogy and Ireland, and when I saw you rolling the beads on your leather bangles under your hand, I smiled because I did that too, on the one you gave me for my birthday.

One of my fondest childhood memories is of a sunny weekend afternoon with both our families squeezed into your TV room, passing around gallon-size bags of homemade venison jerky as we watched The Princess Bride (my family for the second time in 24 hours, your family for the first time ever).

We took that Dorr Video VHS tape on a grand tour of Allegan County, watching it a total of seven times that weekend. I kept count until I lost track at well over 100 viewings. I’m sure it tops 250 now, yet the only one that stands out in my mind is the one with you; the one that tastes like venison jerky, feels like a leather recliner sofa, smells like sun-warmed hardwood floors, and sounds like the reverberating laughter of loved ones.

Aunt Lisa, you are present in many of my most precious childhood memories. I regret we ran out of time to make more.



So sorry for such a loss for all  of Lisa's Family members and friends and especially Ed, Nolan and Morgan and their families.  She was always a bright light wherever she went.  Hope you feel the prayers of many during your time of Sorrow.  Our deepest Sympathy   John & Kim Langlois

So many choir practices. Singing at the talent show in our 4 piece barbershop group. All the nursing homes and Christmas caroling and a few trips in the trophy. That deep husky laugh.    Lisa made her life memorable.
