Vincent "BZ" Joseph Sotile Sr.

Vincent was a graduate of Donaldsonville High School, University of Louisiana at Lafayette and Louisiana State University Law School. He was a retired attorney and consultant.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Genevieve Waguespack Sotile; his children, Wendy Poirrier (Camille), Lisa Rowell (David), Vincent Jr. (Courtney) and Monica Arcement (Pat). Fourteen grandchildren who he adored with his whole heart: Alison Poirrier Lemann (Matthew), Ashley Poirrier LeBoeuf (Troy), Michael Rowell (Jessica), Emily Rowell Barnett (Jack), Nate Rowell, Virginia Sotile Shaw (John), Anna Claire, Thomas, Matthew, Vincent “Trey” and Luke Sotile, Patrick Arcement (Katelyn), William Arcement (Linda) and Nicholas Arcement. Thirteen great-grandchildren, Ella, Elise and Emerson Lemann, Jackson, Camille, Harrison and Genevieve LeBoeuf, Rosie Rowell, Jack and Edward Shaw, and Ava, Carson and Alexandra Arcement. He is survived by one brother, Frank A Sotile (Sandra) and several nieces, nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marie Montalbano and Joseph Vincent Sotile and his sister Concetta Dinino (Frank).

Visitation will take place at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church, Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 pm conducted by Father Paul Yi, followed by entombment in Ascension Catholic Mausoleum.
