Philip “Pa” Joseph Breaux, 80, a native of Thibodaux, lifelong resident of Donaldsonville and current resident of Gonzales, passed away on February 5, 2021. Philip was a loving husband, father, step-father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend. He was an avid LSU Tigers fan who enjoyed attending all sporting events for his grandchildren, and coaching his daughters in softball. Philip was a sweet, kind, humble man and will be missed by all who loved him. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Jacqueline Barlow Breaux; two daughters, Hope Breaux Blanchard (Jason) and Lisa Breaux Falcon (Brian); one step daughter, Regina Landry; three step sons, Brian Landry, Mitch Landry (Louise), and Mark “Beau” Landry; four grandchildren, Amber Blanchard Landry (Luke), Rodney Blanchard, Trevor Falcon (Jenni), and Paityn Falcon; seven step grandchildren; one great grandchild, Drew-Catherine Falcon; nine step great grandchildren; two sisters, Bonnie Breaux Dugas and Audrey Breaux Chiasson, and one sister-in-law, Pris Benoit. He is preceded in death by his parents, Philip and Velma Brown Breaux; former wife, Diane Breaux; one sister, Gaydell Breaux Chauvin; one brother, Gerald Breaux; two brothers-in-law, Leroy Dugas and Clarence “Tcan” Chiasson. Pallbearers will be: Rodney Blanchard, Trevor Falcon, Jason Blanchard, Brian Falcon, Kyle Breaux and Mitch Landry. Honorary pallbearers will be: Mark “Beau” Landry, Don Guillot, and Brian Landry. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at St. Elizabeth Hospital and Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital. A visitation will be held at Ascension Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Interment to follow in the church Mausoleum.
