Glynda "Tootsie" (Arnold) Cousin

She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Fidelity 160, and an original member of the First Baptist Church in Donaldsonville. She loved cooking, spending time with her family especially the grandkids and scrolling through facebook. She also enjoyed filming/watching home videos of the family, playing the piano for her church and listening to Gaithers music.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years and one day, Douglas Cousin, Sr.; daughter, Dawn Cousin Breaux (Joseph); two sons, Richard (Becky) and Douglas Jr. (Kristi); granddaughter, Kameryn Gardemal (Mathieu); three grandsons, Cody (Courtney), Nicholas "Nick" (Lori) and Alex (Madison); great-grandchildren, Grayson and Brayden Gardemal, Addilyn and Andi Kate Cousin, Jaxon and Jake Cousin; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Beulah Arnold; her son, Arthur Martin "Cuz" Cousin; her sister, Joan Doris Cole; three brothers, Art, Harry and Charles Arnold; and two infant brothers.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her caregivers from Vital Caring Group, Ms. Cody, Ms. Agalia, Ms. Shannon and the support staff for their care and compassion.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024 from 5:30 pm until 9:00 pm at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville. Then to continue on Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 9:00 am until the funeral services for 12:00pm. Interment to follow at Ascension of Our Lord Church Cemetery.
