Tess D. Robinson

ROBINSON—Tess Luskin of Severance, NY, Margate Fl and most recently Bay Shore, NY passed away March 20, 2021 four days from her 107th birthday. “Aunt Tess” to scores of girls who knew her in the 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s as owner of Camp Severance for Girls on Paradox Lake in the NY Adirondacks. Her competence, intuitive nature, professional style and warm composure made her the ideal camp director. She nurtured each child and helped them grow and succeed. Her own children cherished and adored her. Tess was a devoted mother to the late Geraldine (David) Lowe, Stephanie (Charles) Heineman , Dr Brad (Luella) Robinson. She is a grandmother to Dr Brian (Jody) Lowe, Nina (Scott) Felix , Max (Amy)Heineman, Alex (Elishia)Heineman, Lindsey (Ben) Gregg, the late Gabriel Robinson, Erika Robinson, Lawrence VanEgdon and Gregg VanEgdon and great grandmother to seven beautiful girls, Kasey, Jordan, Chase, Caroline , Britt, Sloane and Everleigh. For 76 years Tess and her beloved husband Robert R. Robinson (deceased ) shared their vision of a life well lived through enduring friendships, adventurous travels, and life long learning, There was never a person who did not fall in love with her classic beauty and loving heart.
