

Born in the Bronx, Fred and his wife Arleen began raising their family in Brooklyn before moving to Long Island, where he built a life full of love, kindness, and devotion to family.
Fred is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Arleen. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. He is also survived by his older brother, Samuel.
As a father, Fred was an inspiration and a role model to his five sons and their wives—Michael and Cathy, Bruce and Donna, Jay and Melissa, Larry and Elizabeth, and Hal and Melinda. He instilled in them the values of hard work, integrity, responsibility, and compassion. His legacy lives on through his 11 grandchildren and their significant others, Andrew and his partner Krista, Amanda and her husband Joe, Brian and his partner Lizette, Ariella, Bethany and her partner Sam, Rebecca and her husband Chris, Dara, Philip, Helena and her fiancé Mitchell, Eve, and Autumn as well as his two great-grandchildren, Brayden and Cole, all who have brought him immense joy and pride.
Fred’s life was marked by his dedication to family. His humor and warmth left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Fred’s memory will be a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His family takes comfort in knowing that his soul will continue to guide them, and his love will forever be felt in their hearts.
Funeral services will be held on April 6, 2025 at 12pm, at I.J. Morris in Dix Hills, followed by interment at New Montefiore Cemetery in West Babylon, NY.
