Celia Salazar was born in Robstown Tx. On Aug 19,1934. She went home to be with the Lord on Dec 3,2024. She was a devoted housewife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband Margarito Salazar, her parents Pedro Jimenez and Leonor P Jimenez. Brothers Pedro Jimenez Jr. , Tirso Jimenez, Erasmo Jimenez, half brother Vincent Jimenez, sister Jane Ceballos, half sisters Emma Ortega, and Elvira Yzaguirre. She is also preceded in death by her sons Homer Jimenez and Samuel Salazar, and great grandchildren Carlos Salazar III , Jocelyn Salazar, Monique Salazar, Michael Salazar, and Sienna Salazar.
She is survived by her sons Jaime Salazar Sr., and Carlos Salazar Sr. And daughter Margie Ramos;
along with 17 grand children, 40 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Lazaro Jimenez, Arthur Jimenez, sisters Maria Jimenez, Belia Del Bosque, and Delia Rodriguez. And many many nieces and nephews all of whom she loved dearly.
She grew up in Robstown Tx as the oldest of 10 siblings. And moved to California in 1956 where she met and married Margarito Salazar. She was a mighty woman of God. She loved playing the piano, singing and worshipping the Lord; her hobbies included sewing, doing jigsaw puzzles and playing scrabble.
She was devoted to the Lord and loved praying for people and boldly sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ any chance she got. She loved The Lord, and wanted to instill that in all her family, friends and anyone else she came across. She loved the Lord and was not afraid to tell you that. It was her heart’s desire that everybody hear the Gospel of Jesus.
She will be greatly missed.
