Avelino Astelero Millares, age 72, of Dinuba, California passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024. Avelino was born in Villasis, Pangasinan, Philippines to Marcelina Astelero and Alejandro Ramos Millares.

Avelino is survived by his wife, Amelia Millares; his children and their spouses: Alexander Millares (Mary Ann); Alan Millares (Angelita); Manilyn Millares; Abraham Estigoy (Desiree); David Estigoy; John Michael Estigoy (Jennifer); Aleiah Jane Millares; his grandchildren: Ashley Mae, Arianne, Alexa, Arthur, Albert Joe, Alan, Jr., Mark Alan, Aubree Bella, Amber, Abigail, Nicko, Kaylee Nicole, Lewis James, Mark Jonah; his great-granddaughters: Cassandra, Athena Chloe; his mother Marcelina Astelero; his siblings: Trinidad Campos, Romeo Millares, Rodolfo Millares, Yolanda Gutierrez, Leticia Millares, Freddy Millares, Dario Millares, Alejandro Millares, Jr. and Aldren Millares.

Avelino was preceded in death by his father Alejandro Ramos Millares and his brother Federico Millares.

A visitation for Avelino will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with the rosary at 6:00PM at Dopkins Funeral Chapel, 189 South J Street, Dinuba, CA 93618. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 356 N Villa Ave, Dinuba, CA 93618. Followed by an interment at Smith Mountain Cemetery, 42088 Rd 100, Dinuba, CA 93618.
