Robbins, Max Lewis- 70, of Digby passed away July 30th, 2011 in Yarmouth hospital with his sister Cyndy (Bob Cook) and step father Anthony Saulnier by his side. He was born April 21, 1941 in Waterford, Digby to the late Max Robbins and Hazel Lewis Robbins (Saulnier). Max worked as a car salesman for MacDonald Motors, Digby for several years and was one of the top salespersons in Canada. He later became owner and operator of Home Town Auto, Digby. He is survived by his son, Kevin Robbins, loving half sister Cyndy Kenley (Bob Cook) and step father Anthony Saulnier. He is also survived by his aunt Laura Frost (Jim) Digby, Ida Quinlan (Bill), Sudbury, uncles James Lewis (Nancy) Rossway, Gordon Lewis (Joan) Fenlan Falls, Ontario, and many many cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and several aunts and uncles. Funeral Service will be held 11am Monday , August 8 from St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Digby. Father Keith Billard will officiate with burial in the Waterford Catholic Cemetery ( St. Longinus ). Donations in memory can be made to the Nova Scotia Heart Stroke Foundation.
